1/6 HARLEY DAVIDSON FXE1200 ELECTRA GLIDE DECAL for TAMIYA 1974-1976
Revive your Tamiya 1/6 HD FXE1200 to its former glory using this freshly printed replacement / trans decal set.
The set carries the standard red/white/blue tank stripe design as can be found in the Tamiya kit, but also offers 2 early 'pastel' tank designs that would have dressed the bike in 1974 and 1975 liveries. For the 1976 bike lovers, the appropriate 'white transparancies' tank stripe design is also included!
What else is on the sheet? We re-created speedo and rev decal to actual design (both 1974 and 1975 speedo designs are included), adjusted all other logos that come on the Tamiya sheet and added a bunch of bike correct tech tag stickers and other detail (like full labeling of handle bar switches, 1974-75-76 specific number plate and vin tag options, maintenance tags etc etc).
Sheet is as in pictures. Should you notice a little bit of white sneak out from underneath the colour it supports, that's the way it is... Silk screen printing could not garantee alignment (dixit Cartograf!), and apparently neither could digital printing. Nevertheless, look at pictures. After initial 'oh no, white?' reaction, fall in love with the mesmerizing theme(s) and dress that Electric Glide in its most iconic colours. Decal suits it just perfectly.
Also: the 1976 'white transparancies' design will look smashing on any tank colour, not just the blue as pictured.
