1/6 HONDA CB750 RACING DICK MANN DAYTONA 200 DECAL for TAMIYA

The Tamiya 1/6 Honda CB750 Racing Type is an iconic kit of an iconic bike piloted to victory by Dick Mann during the 1970 Daytona 200 Miles race. This win assured the Japanese 4 stroke bike worldwide attention and recognition.
Unfortunately, the decal sheet that comes with the model kit, shows several errors which were never really addressed throughout all of the issues Tamiya released in the past.

The set on offer was developed from scratch using the actual model so perfect fitment is garanteed. It includes a corrected colour and desing setup for the tank stripe**, adjusted size and design of the race number #2 and comes with GY logos for both tires and fairing ('after-win' added advertising) and a white background for the race number on the nose of the bike. To be able to add the metallic colour to the decal set, the sheet got silk screen printed by CARTOGRAF so superior quality is garanteed.

** after thorough research I believe the correct colour setup for the tank stripe is white/gold and not white/black as Tamiya provides on its decal sheet and which unfortunately became the reference for most tribute bikes built since...
