In the 70's, many of Japanese kit makers launched their own line of 1/24 - 1/32 slot cars: plastic bodies were to be assembled, painted and decalled, while the metal mechanical parts needed to be screwed together. One big name amongst these manufacturers is DOYUSHA, who made 4 slot car kits in a 1/24 F1 serie, and another 4 in the 1/24 GT serie. The MERCEDES BENZ F1 MONOPOSTO slot kit is #3 from the F1 serie, and comes in complete and sealed condition.
