Just in case you think the tires in pictures look like hand grooved... well, that's how they're supposed to look like ;-)
1/12 resin repro of GOODYEAR HAND GROOVED RAIN TIRES as used by McLaren M23 during Japan GP 1976 (Hunt) and which were also featured on several press presentation cars: Lotus MKIII 78, Ferrari 312T and Wolf WR1. The set is made to fit the 1/12 Tamiya kits.
These tires differ a lot from the standard factory rain tires available at the time given:
- hand grooved tires don't have a regular pattern: lanes go from small to wide and back and all small detail cuts differ both in angle, distance and positioning, so no 2 are exactly the same on the entire tire
- hand grooved tires started from standard slicks, so also the overall shape differs from the factory rain set
- side wall detail is slick based
KIT FEATURES:
4 resin tires: 2 fronts and 2 rear with hand grooved rain pattern. Side detail on walls is reproduced. Tires come unpainted in near white resin.

REMARK:
- wheels in pics are not included but just used as reference
- the resin used has near white color, the gray tires in pictures received a layer of gray primer to better show detail.
