Full trans set to transform TAMIYA 1/12 Lola MKIII into Aston Martins Project 218 1967 Le Mans 24Hr (#11 Surtees)/Nurburgring 12Hr entry.
Prior to bringing the set into production, the prototype was checked for correctness by former Aston Martin mechanic Mr. David Morgan, who accompanied the car during its 1967 race adventures. All this effort to ensure you get an historical correct model, executed to highest standards. BBK quality, quoi!
KIT FEATURES:
1. body transkit: resin parts (front and rear hood, reworked side panels L+R, 2 fuel caps, 2 mirrors, 1 adapter part, rear wing), 5 clear resin light bulbs, vacuum formed rear window, photo etch detailup fret, 3D printed rivets for wing and window fixation, 6 alu bolt and nut combo, 4 alu rod ends, full sponsor decal set (2 sheet, 9 colors silk screen printed decal set, including tire rings and markings in and out).
2. engine kit: 80+ resin parts (3D drawn, 3D printed, cleaned and then resin copied with attention to finest detail) and 100's of 3D printed simulated bolts/rivets/nutsandstuds to 'bolt' the engine together. The engine shows inner detail: both cylinder banks have detail inside and each head shows valves + double camshafts + drive chain. Build it open or closed. Different air intake manifolds supplied for both Nurburgring and Le Mans versions. Full 3D drawn building manual with clear sequences comes in digital form only.
